A new disabilty action plan |

A new disability action plan is proposed to be planned as soon as possible. The proposed plan will basic needs and rights of physically and mentally handicapped people living in Sri Lanka. They are identified as a most vulnerable grouphs with less advantages. So, it is time to draft such a plan

Climate change has badly affected Hambantota district making the area to face a long drought period. As expected, rains did not fall in April and the community is struggling to find water to quench their thurst. If rains will not come in near future, relief services should be provided to rescue people from unexpected deaths.
